Does anyone have any "home-based" solutions for severely dry, sensitive and itchy skin?

suffer from severely dry and itchy skin, that often gets quite sore (like pins are in it). On occasion I get eczema too. In my last consult with my dermatologist, I was prescribed a low-dose cortical steroid cream for whole body application and a higher dose one for areas affected by eczema. I was also prescribed SBR Barrier Repair Cream for whole body application. I have run out of the aforesaid, and will have to wait till at least Monday to get another script. Does anyone have a home-remedy I could use in the interim?

Dual 12 inch subs compared to dual 10 inch subs?

I recently put dual 512 MTX 12 inch subs in my Tahoe and connected them to a 600W dual channel amp they blew today and I went back to the retailer and they found they didn't have anymore in stock so they said they would give me Dual 10 inch MTX Sledge Hammers that are $200 more expensive and they said they are smaller but have more power and a different style box. I am connecting them to the same amp, will they still have as loud of a sound?

30 gallon long with 1 fantail, 1 black moor, 1 bristlenose pleco?

How does that sound? The tank measures 36" long by 12" wide and 18" high. I will cycle it. I'm still setting it up but I'm getting a Marineland Penguin 350 filter, good for about a 75 gallon tank. I'll do weekly water changes and siphon the gravel at the same time, and I'm getting a cave and driftwood for the pleco. Do you think an adult bristlenose pleco would like a cave better that's 10 x 6.5 x 3.5" or 7.75 x 5.75 x 2.75"? Do they like a little room to move around in their cave or to be more closed in? Anything else I should know about what to put in the tank or anything?

Another yeast infection?

a few weeks ago, i got a yeast infection and used the monistat one-day treatment thing. it cleared up really fast, so me and my boyfriend had for the first time 3 days later. well i am at the end of my period and a couple of nights ago, i started experiencing itching again. i still had some of the monistat cream that came with the kit so i used some of that. i woke up yesterday morning and it was still a little itchy so i used more of the cream and all day yesterday it didn't bother me at all, until i got out of the shower. it was itchy again last night and a little this morning. it's not so bad this morning but it might be a little swollen although i can't really tell. it's not unbearably itchy like the last time but it's still kind of itchy. is this even a yeast infection or is my vulva just irritated?

Lump on back of head?

Well, I'm a design student and you have used one of the worst things imaginable, bold, underlined, italic, serif font. It also doesn't look very good against the black, white is so much easier to get looking good (Google, Mac, for example) and you could try looking through illustration magazines such as Computer Arts or Print magazine, it always helps to get some good illustration. You've do a good job though, you just need to keep persevering.

Brakes spongy on 2005 uplander?

I'm not 100% sure about this vehicle but some cars have a brake fail switch in the master cylinder which need to be temporarily removed during brake bleeding. (Then refitted after brake bleeding) If it isn't removed the small plunger at the tip of the switch gets bent and prevents the master cylinder from working properly. Double check the service manual for this vehicle for the exact brake bleeding procedure.

I don't know what year it's from, but I know it's not recent. These women get stranded during the war in the ocean (I think there's 3 of them) and they have to swim to shore, where they find a concentration camp (I think the camp is in Japan). Is there a way to keep hair dye from fading?

Every time I dye my hair, it seems to fade after just a week or two. I'm a natural reddish brown and I dye it a darker version of the natural because my hair tends to look dull and almost grayish sometimes. I take a shower and do the dye about 1 1/2 days after when my hair becomes dirty. I leave in the dye for the time the instructions say, sometimes even 5 or so minutes longer. When I rinse, I get my hair a little wet to lather and rub in the dye more, as the instructions say as well. I use the special conditioner given and even by the colored hair shampoo and conditioner (although I'm not so sure I believe those special titled shampoos really do what they say). After a few weeks it either looks light brown or red, or even back to the way it was before dying. My mom bought a package of red and blonde to do her hair, but she has recently decided to finally let her grey go. I am thinking about using the dye she has bought for a different look. I am getting sick of wasting my time and money and frying my scalp and hair for just a few weeks of color. Is there anything I can do to keep the color in? Thank you!

How stiff should my valve springs be on my ltr450?

I was curious if my valve springs are not tight enough i have a 06 ltr 450 and i had it apart adjusting my valve clearance cause i can not get it to run right. And i noticed i can push them down with my thumb i don't know how they should be but i thought that they would be really tight is this normal? I had it apart because i have had a issue with it for the past year now and the issue is when i have it idleing and if i give it all its got it wiill just start cutting out and backfireing sound like it would be out of time but its not its perfectly in time. I can just give it a little bit of throttle and it will rev up but once i get the throttle to a certain spot (right around half way) it starts to cut out a little and if i just keep going it will just kill the engine. I can not figure it out i actually think i give up on it i have probably 30 hours trying to figure it out going back and checking everything to make sure i did it right and all that and i still can not get it. But if anyone knows anything about any of my problems that would be greatly appreciated i am all ears right now cause i am clueless. An another thing is i bought a new tps sensor thinking that was it and i even set it to where it is supposed to be .58-.62 volts off the b/br wire and yellow wire and still don't work actually it won't even really run if it is set like that it will start and idle for about 3 seconds and then just die in order to get it to idle i have to put the tps sensor way up around .90 volts or so. That don't make sense to me so again if anyone knows what could be going on that would be awesome thanks for all your help in advance.

Make your tea up minus the milk and add lemon juice and honey to it, helps soothe if nothing else, also prop yourself up in bed with pillows to sop excessive coughing t night and allowing you to get much needed sleep. From the symptoms you mentioned earlier on in the question I thought It was the turbo. on old cars, or even new cars when the turbo gets old it will make different noises. (The sound of a jet engine is normally ociated with a turbo spinning up to speed.) As long as the noise isnt getting progressively worse you shouldnt worry. But if you know someone who could inspect the turbo seals for leaking,(even if you have to pay him) and the turbine for shaft play it would be money well spent. (in the event that it needs replacing)

I am looking for a recipe for a croissant bread pudding that has chocolate chips sprinkled throughout- not using a chocolate custard where the whole pudding looks chocolate. One Piece is good because in a way it's similar to Naruto, it's about a pirate trying to find a treasure called One Piece, and while they trying to do that they grow as people and etc... I highly recommend if you like Naruto, and Bleach but beware it does start out slow and there is fillers especially in the later episodes. Priming and painting MDF?

i just built a monstrous wall unit out of MDF. (8' wide by 7' tall). Im told that it should be primed with a oil based primer and then painted with an oil based paint. My question is, what brand of primer would be the best to prime this with? all exposed edges will be covered with trim when installed so the edges are not an issue. i see that home depot sells kilz original primer, but on the can it says that it is only for smoke and water damaged substrates...would it hurt if i used it?

I'm not sure what to do about my cat.?

I have a cat that I need to decide weather to have her put down or find a new home for. She's on the older side. She doesn't handle change well. My job is boring and the pay is crap - what should I do?

Ok, I'm currently working at a university library. I have an MA in History, but couldn't find anything in my subject area and took a job at the library to pay the bills. It's barely over minimum wage and so boring that it makes me tired and iritable. Plus, my supervisor, who I used to like, drives me crazy. To get a decent wage in a library, you need to have MLIS, but that's another two years of study, which I can do for free online through the University, but that means sticking around this town and in this job for another two to two and a half years, and I just don't want to do that. I live in a small Southern City ages from anything cool and I'm sick to death of it. My husband has been offered a job at the University when he graduates, and in some ways it's a good opportunity, but I'm afraid of being stuck here. Plus, if I'm this bored in a library now, I can't imagine working in one for life. But I'm afraid of being stuck in menial jobs if I don't do the MLIS.

On a console with both 1/4" and XLR inputs the +48v usually only goes into the XLR. However if your console only has 1/4" and does have phantom, then I would suggest it does run +48v into the 1/4" lines. The console's manual should give you the answer. PS-Do the mic(s) you have need phantom power?

I'm 19 and don't like the movie. It was so hyped to me I had to see it and I was disappointed. I found the characters to be lame, nothing I could relate to. I didn't care who lived or died. The story was good but, that's why there's the book, which I think was better. Everyone said the performances are all so spectacular, I didn't see anything special about them. All I saw was Pacino, Brando, and Bobby D pretending to be someone else, I didn't find their roles convincing. When I saw Iron Man RDJ convinced me he was Tony Stark. When I saw TDK Ledger convince me he was The Joker. When I saw American Beauty Spacey convinced me he was Lester Burnham, you get the idea. The whole part with Michael in Italy was lame, he gets married girl dies he goes home and makes his old girlfriend. There was way to much of the wedding at the beginning shown, it went on forever. Hey I'm a Business student and we had to do some accounting. It's just arithmetic not math but it can be sneaky at times lol We only used basic tools though (pens and paper). If you're going to do an actual accounting course you'll be taught with accounting software such as SAGE etc and all you have to do is punch in numbers (it's probably a little but more complicated than that but not much) :) You'll probably be taught book keeping too which wasn't too bad.

I have the MAC foundation and it doesn't break me out, but I always wash my face really good before and after using it. I use the studio fix fluid and it really does cover up everything - redness, the occasional pimple, acne scars. The only problem is that it's a little bit too thick for school. But since you're eighteen, I doubt you have that problem. If it really makes your skin look that fabulous, by all means use MAC. Just be sure to wash your face really good afterwards so you don't have to worry about breaking out.
