How good are Samsung refrigerators compared to Maytag, Whirlpool, etc?

I know for sure Samsung is #1 in TV's, PC Monitors, etc. They are now in the refrigeration business, have been for several years selling 25 cubic foot fridge for about $1400. I hear Maytag has slipped in quality. Whirlpool might be in between. Anyone with first hand experience in this subject?
