Ipod touch got wet!!! tried rice solution but no luck :(?

My friend accidentally washed her iPod Nano; sorry to tell you this, but they tried everything and nothing worked. So her parents went out and bought her an iPod Touch. Idiots. Sorry, life is unfair :( I feel for ya.
