M Effect 2 ending help!?

Should I destroy the base or not!? It seems like using the Tech, humanity and all of aliens will have a better chance fighting off the reapers...its Cerberus I'm worried about...with that kind of tech in their hands. But imagine having reaper tech against them, hell...it took thousands of ships to destroy one with the current tech...Now that I think about it though...remember what Sovereign said in ME1 (Legion also said it in ME2 by quoting him)? "By using our technology, your civilization develops along the paths we desire."....anyone give me some advice? I'm like 100% paragon and with Tali :D
