Silverware from World War II?

I have three pieces of Silverare from Wolrd War II; an ice cream spoon that says "SHORT'NING AND ICE CREAM SPOON," a erknife, and spoon that both say "U.S." on them. Are they worth anything at all, or are they just neato?
